102 (Dyce) Squadron is the oldest Air Training Corps unit in the North East of Scotland. Its headquarters are in the Northfield area of Aberdeen, although it retains its Dyce designation as a historical link to its origins at RAF Dyce.
The Air Training CorpsIs a uniformed organization open to young men and women between the ages of 13 and 20. The Corps aims are to promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force, to provide training which will be useful both in the Services and in civil life, to foster the spirit of adventure, and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
