The club was formed in March 2000, in response to the growing interest in
performance cars, and using them (safely!) to their limits. It is an
informal club, based on enthusiasts who own genuine performance vehicles,
of any type or make. The only membership requirement is that your car must
be rated at or deliver 200BHP or over!!! (Flywheel figures will be
acceptable!). The club now has virtually every type of performance car
listed within our membership!
You don't have to own a modified vehicle, or even want to modify your car! The
aim is to gather an exciting and unusual collection of cars and put them
to use on tracks, drag strips etc. We attend shows and meetings, but the
emphasis will be on using them as they were designed.
Monthly Regional Meetings: all across the country. First Monday
each month 8pm in the North/North West/North East/Midlands. First Wednesday each
month for the South. First Sunday each month from 6pm onwards for the North East.
Club discounts: With companies such as DP Motorsport, Racelogic,
Hi-Teq, Forge, Motobuild, Mynheer, Peter Lloyd.
Club Insurance scheme:
Great savings for performance/modified Cars.
Trackdays/Drag Racing: at venues all over the country, one event
per month usually, sometimes much more, at reduced cost.
Newsletters/Chat:
4 newsletters a year by email or post plus dedicated club Internet Chat group for
queries and advice.
