Nicky Campbell

As Scottish as an Aberdeen Angus and as prickly as a thistle, Nicky Campbell presents his show (Mon-Fri 9am-12 noon during the week), in his own, inimitable style and flair...skills he finely honed during his days at Radio 1!

The show mixes live contributions through the phone-in on the day's topic at 9am, his 10am interview following by a variety of guests participating in the show from 10.30am onwards...including the listeners through oth telephone calls and e-mails to the show.

A fine athelete, he is a sub-3and a half hour first-time London Marathon runner (2000), he has more than proved that Radio 1's loss has been 5 Live's gain!

Recently, Nicky was offered the role as replacement for Jimmy Young on BBC Radio 2 but as elected to remain with Radio 5 Live.
