Simon is another "escapee" from the Radio 1 asylum and yet another Spurs supporter!

Simon joined Radio 5 Live in 2001 and despite some misgivings about having another DJ at the station, Simon has become firmly established as a good all-round presenter for the 2pm-4pm slot on Mondays to Fridays.

It was on Simon's show on Tuesday September 11 2001, that the News York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvannia atrocities broke and in our humble opinion, Simon handled the breaking news very well considering the events that were taking place.
