THE PSI NET PROJECT Psi-Phenomena - Telepresence - Virtual Reality 1995

Psi Net was a series of three hour long live remote viewing and mediumship experiments made over three nights at a ruined ironstone mine in East Cleveland applying highly sensitive thermographic optical scanning, bio-feed back heart recording and voice recordings transmitted live locally via a microwave link.

Current Laboratory experiments in parapsychology prove that phenomena such as Telepathy are replicable within an electronic void. Psi Net is a synthesis of psi-phenomena, elements extacted from the parascientific Lab and virtual reality technology. I use the metaphor of the void to elaborate on the theme of Psi and cyberception applying the concept of the void and remote electronic space as a projective echo of inner space. I am identifying ways in which telepresent technologies might allow us to distribute a persistent manifestation of identifiable personal energy.

The work was made in response to the landscape and history of the post industrial mining landscape of East Cleveland, England 1994 as part of Earthwire

The results were recorded and kept.
