Opening Hours
The
station museum is open on Sundays, between Easter and the last
weekend of September.
Opening hours - 11 to 4pm.
The footpaths are open all year round.
Although no trains operate at the station, a limited number of special events take place here each year.
Events
County School at War
Travel back to the Home Front!
Dance to the music, taste the food and enjoy the sites at our main
WW2 event. Come in costume, or just as you are! Please note that
this is a Home Front event, so we'd prefer Axis contributions to
limit themselves to P.O.W. impressions.
Car Boot Sale
Usually held on the same day as the
County School at War event. Please watch the local press for
additional dates and details.
1950s and 60s Car Show
As much of the site is used for displaying vintage vehicles, we recommend that you park up at Dereham and make use of
the free bus service linking the two sites.
For further details of events at County School please telephone 01362 668181.
This is a wildlife and livestock
farming area, please keep your dog on a lead.
Please think of the
next visitor and take any rubbish or waste home with you.
The footpaths over MNRPT
property are Permissive Routes, and access is granted by permission
of the Trust. Walkers may use these paths at their own risk. Horses,
cycles and motorised vehicles may not be used on these paths. The
station drive is a permissive route and vehicles may be used on it
solely at their owners risk.
Do not
teach children that railways are play areas. Keep off the tracks!
