The orchard, beside platform one, contains many ancient and rare species of fruit tree. The original orchard was planted by one of the early stationmasters. More recently some replacement trees were planted by the Wensum Valley Project.
The orchard contains a picnic table for physically disabled visitors, accessed by a ramp from the upper car park.
A path leads through the orchard to the wildflower meadow and the permissive footpath to Broom Green.
