In order to encourage more volunteers to help at County School, the Mid-Norfolk Railway Preservation Trust has formed the Friends of County School.
Membership of the Friends of County School enables interested parties to work on the site. The membership price of £1.00 means that volunteers are covered by the railway's insurance scheme. Members of the MNRPT can automatically become members of the Friends.
If you would like further details of the Friends, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope to The Friends, County School Station, North Elmham, Norfolk.
As well as the ongoing work on the station site, handled by the Friends of County School, the County School Area Group has been formed to work on the track and trackbed. They meet on the last Sunday of the month and are clearing the formation between County School and North Elmham.
