A large collection of locomotives, including examples from the National Collection, with about five miles of operating narrow and standard gauge railway in the gardens.

An impressive collection. Train rides are quite good, although some of the standard gauge exhibits could do with some extra TLC. There is the added bonus of the garden centre for those people who think beyond railways!
Rescued from dereliction by enthusiast David Turner, the main line station at Wymondham, featured in the Norfolk By Rail logo, has been made into a fantastic museum and buffet - themed on the famous movie "Brief Encounter". This station has won many awards and is well worth a visit.

The Village was a recreation of a typical Norfolk village using buildings rescued from around the county. There was also a large collection of bygone vehicles on the site - including standard and narrow gauge rolling stock and a collection of signal boxes (derelict and stored).
There was a narrow gauge line running round the site, the stations for which were constructed using salvaged canopy components from the M&GNJR Yarmouth Beach station.
This location closed for redevelopment in 2004.
