Norfolk By Rail Review
May 2004 The running line has been extended and steam has made a return to this delightful line. When open it takes about half an hour to look round. Arrive by train, as local roads are poor and there is no car parking. Please note that this is a private site, generally closed to the public. The line owns three steam engines, but two are being restored at this time.
A small private steam railway, located in a garden near Wroxham. The original signal box from Honing, on the closed M&GNJR route to Great Yarmouth survives here, along with other interesting items.
Open on the third Sunday of each month during the summer months.
Volunteer supporters of this line have recently formed a group aiming to save the redundant signal box from Wroxham station. Further details of this project can be found in the news section.
