When and Where Found

You would find the flies in grass, the trees round houses and in hedges.

Parts of A Fly

Wings.
The black lines in the wings are called veins. These are hollow rods that help a fly's wings stiff, and give them their shape.
Legs.
When you look at a fly's six legs you can see how it is made of different jointed parts so that it can bend easily.
Hairs
The hairs on a fly's body help it to feel.
Eyes
Each eye is made up of separate parts with a lens,shaped like a hexagon.
Antennae
The fly's antennae are right at the front end of its head. It probably has very short antennae as most flies do.
