Littlest Pet Shop Digital Pet Tips
- Open the packaging carefully by slitting
along the outside, so that if your child doesn't take to the game you can at
least sell it 'amost as new' on eBay. (It's easy to reset)
- Don't lose the instructions, the map of the
LPS Digital Pet's world is quite important at working out what's where,
especially when you're first beginning.
- Your child will get frustrated in the first
ten minutes as it's not obvious what to do. Consider it as much an adventure
game as a virtual pet. Talk them through all the things on the printed
instructions and then just help them when they get stuck in a particular
location or can't work out what a game involves.
- Unlike a Tamagotchi, there's no need to
pause the digital pet during school hours, or even at night; simply stop
playing with it and it'll turn off and pause after two minutes.
- You'll appreciate the included belt clip.
Make sure this is attached to the child's bag/belt or similar, and it won't get
lost.
