DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
Since September 2003 Abbey Gate College have been part of the CAD in Schools Initiative using ProDesktop. We have used this software in our new Media Centre since then and all our Technology examination groups, GCSE, AS & A2, have had a full term of instruction. These are the results. Here we have work by Adam Plumbley, Simon Richardson and Andrew Evans, all in Year 10. All are doing GCSE Design & Technology Resistant Materials. Mr Thompson the teacher, who has had almost 20 years in industry, says well done.
