THIS IS FOR A VERY OLD VERSION OF PLANIT FALL

This is you...

and you collect these.

The player collects gems.....(in this case by moving left).....

and the gem disappears

You can dig (walk) through soil and it disappears

if you remove soil from under a gem .......

and then step away the gem will fall in to the space....

BUT....

in this case the player removes the soil....

|

and then steps down....

|

which leaves a space..... Newton say "OH ! NO !" in a (Harry
Enfield type of voice)
and the gem falls.....with enough force to make you reach for you favourite analgesic....
(mass times acceleration type of thing)

OUCH !

Rocks are a little bit like gems, but not worth much - lets face
it, if your average garden rock was worth as much as a valuable gem we would all be rather
rich. In our "PlanIt Fall" world rocks are not valuable and so we can't collect
them (although in the "real world" some people do collect rocks - and we are not
making any judgement on their mentality or ability to function in society).
Unluckily for us our "PlanIt Fall" rocks did pay attention in physics class so
they know about gravity and, being a bit upset that we like certain rocks
(rubies, diamonds, etc) more than them, take every opportunity to squash you. The same rules
apply - you can safely stand under a rock that is not moving - i.e. by removing soil or a
gem from under it - but woe betide any one daft enough to get below a moving angry rock !
Rocks can be pushed - providing there is nothing in the area you want to push them into....

In the above case you can move right and push the rock into the empty space

In the below example you cannot push the rock because there is something in its space

the top rock will fall into the space left as they are not very good at
balancing
- this is also true of gems

Walls

Walls are hard. You thought Vinny was hard in Two
Smokin ? - walls are harder. Your average wall wouldnt think twice about
stopping you dead in your tracks, in fact it wouldnt think once, they are hard - but
thick ! Two short planks would appear well educated next to a wall.
Walls share a lot in common with soil - basically a wall is soil that has had all its
brains baked out - and there wasnt much to start with. Walls and soil cant
comprehend the concept of gravity and just stay where they are - if they could think about
it they would probably hate apples! You cant do much with a wall it just sits there
and gets in your way.

Some wall are weaker then others and can be destroyed with the help of
explosives and velocity stimulated rocks !
Some walls are rounded and will allow rocks and gems to roll off.

Now this lovely looking flora is a bit of a pest. Not quite as nasty as
Triffids or Brussel Sprouts, but still a pest.
Basically growing anywhere adjacent to it that is empty - blocking your path.
You, in turn, can stop it by a hastily placed rock or even yourself !
