A card, ‘chequebook’ and flexible facilities from your own Charity Account offer you a simple way to maximise the money you have to give. Quite simply, you pay your money into your account, CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) reclaims tax from the taxman and adds it to your balance so you have even more to give away. If you already use CharityCard, you can even donate to us securely online Payroll Giving / Give As You Earn Any employee receiving a regular taxed income can arrange for a set amount to be deducted by their employer before tax is calculated. So, for every £10 you give, it only costs £7.70, if you pay tax at 23%. CAF provides the UK’s largest payroll giving scheme, called Give As You Earn . Give As You Earn accounts for more than £1 million a month in gifts to good causes. Deed of Covenant If you are a UK tax payer, we are able to increase the value of your donation, at no extra cost to you, by a Deed of Covenant. A Deed of Covenant is simply an agreement to donate a fixed sum to us for at least four years. As a charity we can claim back the tax that you have paid from the Inland Revenue and increase your gift by over 30%. Gift Aid Gift Aid will give extra benefit to us at no extra cost to you.
