extra curriculum

My interests are quite focussed on two or three main areas: reading, WEB surfing - and in order to distract myself from the previous two - cinema going. However one could summarise the above under the larger subject of travelling.

Considering that I have both endured and promoted my moves both within Italy and internationally during the whole span of my life, I fall victim of the recurrence of travelling by means of my mind even when I am physically settled.

This explains why I often find myself travelling through times, emotions and far away places using the polymorphemic variety of books, the grandeur of cinema or the sinuosity of the web.

Hence, whilst constantly travelling but at the same time pursuing the elusive cardinal points which could - but never would - indicate me some safe harbouring coves, I reach the shores of the virtual community by means of this site. And exhausted I lean against a post, smoking a hand rolled cigarette, I look towards the horizon (circling the globe twice, fleetingly touching the tourism promotion associations of Venice, the new age energy of Santa Fe, the London theatres, the crazy civic numbers of Tokyo and the Melbourne dream) and sigh: - Finally, a Webmistress . . . ! ;-)

You might be surprised or even disappointed by the simplicity of this site. However, a fair amount of time has been given to its study in order to result easy to the browsing even using less powerful set-ups. In particular:

frames have been avoided altogether so that the pages might be printed, sent, referenced and/or saved with ease

graphic content is present in a restricted amount and has been prepared on purpose in order to contain the strain of data transfers

style is rather essential in order to optimise the readability of contents - themselves kept to a minimum (far from me wasting other people's precious time!)

Having said that, any constructive comment will be more than welcome! :-)
