Ahron Bregman, PhD, is an expert on Israel, the Arab-Israeli Conflict and Middle Eastern Affairs.
Ahron Bregman was born in Israel in 1958. He was educated in Jerusalem and London, gaining his PhD from the Department of War Studies, King's College, London. He is the author of several books on the Arab-Israeli Conflict including Israel's Wars: A History since 1947 and A History of Israel. He also wrote The Fifty Years War: Israel and the Arabs, the companion book to a six-part BBC/PBS television documentary, and its sequel, Elusive Peace: How the Holy Land defeated America which accompanied a further three-part BBC series. He also writes for national newspapers in the UK and the USA. He lives in England with wife Dana and children Daniel, Maya and Adam.
