Up to 22 weapons can be carried either Mk48 ADCAP torpedoes or SubHarpoon SLCM. Alternatively, two
mines can be carried per torpedo space.
Powerplant:
Three Hedemora Garden V18B/14 diesels producing a total of 6000bhp with three Jeumont Schneider
generators and one Jeumont Schneider main motor producing 7300hp on one shaft. One MacTaggart
Scott DM43006 emergency motor is also fitted.
Maximum speed is 10kts surfaced and 20kts submerged electric or 10kts snorkelling. Range is 11500NM
@ 10kts surfaced or 10000NM @ 10kts snorkelling.
