History & Modifications



Blake:
Blakes boilers proved unreliable and they were replaced in 1899. Between 1892 and 1895, she was flagship on the North America & West Indies station. From the until 1898 she was with the Channel Fleet.

In 1907 she was partially disarmed and converted to a depot ship. She was sold for scrapping on 9th June 1922.

Blenheim:
Blenheim was with the Channel Fleet between 1894 and 1898, and on the China station between 1901 and 1904. In 1907 she was partially disarmed and converted to a depot ship.

She was sold for scrapping on 13th July 1926.
