Dreadnought:
Dreadnought was the first British submarine to surface at the North Pole in 1971. In the 1970s she was
fitted to fire Tigerfish torpedoes. She developed reactor problems in late 1980 and was decommissioned
in 1982. She is laid up at Rosyth awaiting disposal.
