Notes:
All except Eurydice and Minerve were refitted with new sonar, a DUAA2 set replacing the DUAA1.
Daphne:
Daphne has been decommissioned.
Diane:
Diane has been decommissioned.
Doris:
Doris has been decommissioned.
Eurydice:
Eurydice was lost on 4th March 1970 during naval exercises off Toulon with the loss of all 57 crew.
Flore:
In 1971, Flore suffered a leak in her snorkel system, but a quick thinking crew saved the boat. She
has been decommissioned.
Galatee:
On 20 August, 1970, Galatee collided with the South African submarine Maria von Riebeeck while
both were on the surface off Toulon. She has been decommissioned.
Junon:
Junon has been decommissioned.
Minerve:
Eurydice was lost 28th January 1968 during naval exercises off Toulon with the loss of all 52 crew.
The wreck has hever been found.
Psyche:
Psyche has been decommissioned.
Sirene:
On 11th October 1972, Sirene sank at anchor due to water coming in though a torpedo tube. There
were no casualties, and the boat was raised and repaired. She has been decommissioned.
Venus:
Venus has been decommissioned.
