History & Modifications
All boats:
All the class were refitted between 1966 and 1970. New sonar and fire control equipment was added,
and the external torpedo tubes removed. The engines were also changed to three Pielstick diesels
driving two SEMT generators.
Dauphin:
Dauphin has been decommissioned.
Espadon:
Espadon has been decommissioned.
Marsouin:
Marsouin has been decommissioned.
Morse:
Morse has been decommissioned.
Narval:
Narval has been decommissioned.
Requin:
Requin has been decommissioned.
