In 1884, Hansa was assigned as a guard and training ship at Kiel. Due to her poor
condition she was stricked from the Navy List on 6th August 1888 and used as a barracks
ship at Kiel. In 1905 she was hulked as a stoker training ship at Monkeberg.
She was scrapped at Swinemunde.
