The Centauros were paid for by the United States, and as a result have a lot of American equipment. They were good seaboats and well armed for their time. |
Bergamini Class

Based on a cut down version of the Centauros, the Bergaminis were refitted in the late '60s, seeing the removal of the rear turret and the enlargement of the helicopter pad. |
Alpino Class

The Alpinos were an enlarged version of the Bergaminis, with gas turbines. The design was modified between laying down and launching. |
Lupo Class

The Lupos are very well armed for their size, and have proved an export success with ships going to Venezuela, Peru and Iraq. |
Maestrale Class
