Baku was originally laid down as a fourth Kiev named Kharkov.

Baku:
Baku was renamed Admiral Gorshkov on the 4th October 1990. There have been several reports of her sale
to India and conversion to a full deck carrier since 1995, but nothing has yet been confirmed and has
also been used as a parts ship for the other Kievs.
