Powerplant:
All ships feature 2 KN-3 nuclear reactors developing 300 megawatts each. They power 2 GT-3A steam turbines developing a total of 140000shp and driving a total of 4 shafts. In addition, 2 oil fired boilers are fitted for high speed dashes. Maximum speed is 17 kts on steam alone and 30kts on combined nuclear/steam power.

Range is 14000NM @ 30kts or 1000NM @ 17kts on boilers alone. There are also 4 3000kw and 4 1500kw generators. Oil fuel carried is 1200 tons.
