All ships:
In the 1980s the torpedo tubes were removed.
Kiev:
Kiev was never launched and cancelled in late 1968. She was scrapped in 1969.
Leningrad:
Leningrad was decommissioned in 1991 and sold for scrap in June 1995 to a Greek company. Scrapping
began in September 1995.
Moskva:
In 1973, Mosvka was used as the trials ship for the Yak-38 Forger. She suffered a major engine fire on
2nd February 1975. She was sold for scrapping in December 1996 to an Indian company and arrived for
breaking in June 1997.
