Bespokoynyy is in service with the Baltic Fleet.

Bestrashniyy:
Bestrashniyy is in service with the Northern Fleet.

Bezboyaznennyy:
Bezboyaznennyy is in service with the Pacific Fleet.

Bezuderzhinyy:
Bezuderzhinyy is in service with the Northern Fleet.

Bezuprechnyy:
Bezuprechnyy is in service with the Northern Fleet.

Boyevoy:
Boyevoy is in service with the Pacific Fleet.

Buliniy:
Buliniy's current status is unknown. She has probably not be completed.

Burny:
Burny is commissioned in the Pacific Fleet.

Bystry:
Bystry is in service with the Pacific Fleet.

Gremyashchiy:
Gremyashchiy was laid down as the Vedushchiy and renamed on 18th August 1998. She is in service with the Northern Fleet.

Nastoychivy:
Nastoychivy was laid down as Moskovskiy Komsomolets and renamed on 30th December 1987. She is in service with the Baltic Fleet.

Okrylenny:
Okrylenny is in service with the Russian Navy, but is laid up awaiting a refit.

Otchayanny:
Otchayanny current status is unknown.

Osmotritelny:
Osmotreitelny is in service with the Pacific Fleet.

Otlichny:
Otlichny has been in reserve since 1994 and will probably not return to service.

Rastoropny:
Rastoropny is in service with the Northern Fleet.

Sovremenny:
Sovremenny has been refitting since 1988 and will probably not return to service.

Stoykiy:
Stoykiy is in service with the Russian Navy, but is laid up awaiting a refit.

Vazhny / 698 Yekateringburg:
Vazhny was sold to the Chinese Navy in 1999 and was handed over in January 2000. She has been renamed Hangzhou.

Vdumchivy / Alexander Nevsky:
Vdumchivy has been sold to the Chinese Navy and will be handed over in late 2000.

Vnushitelniy / Sobrazitelny:
Vnushitelniy was never completed and has been used as a hulk.
