A maximum of 8 torpedoes could be carried. Ten P-20M Ametist / SS-N-7 missiles were also carried in seperate launch tubes.

Powerplant:
Two VM-5 pressurized water reactors totalling 177MW are carried, along with two steam turbines producing a total of 80000shp and driving two shafts. Two 3000kW generators are also fitted. There were two battery banks of 152 silver zinc cells each.

Maximum speed is 25kts surfaced and 44kts submerged. Endurace is 70 days.
