Enterprise:
Enterprise was completed without any armament. She was given a major refit between 1979 and 1982,
and another one between 1990 and 1995. During her first refit, three Mk29 octuple Sea Sparrow SAM
launchers were fitted, along with three Vulcan Phalanx CIWS. The SPS32 and SPS33 radars were removed
and replaced by a SPS49 V5 set.
During her second refit she was refuelled, and two RAM CIWS were added. She is expected to be
decommissioned in 2013 and replaced by CVNX1.
