Wolverine Class

Wolverine was born of a need to provide carriers in home waters for training without taking conventional carriers away from the fleet. She was a converted excursion steamer, the Seeandbee.

Sable Class

Sable was another paddle steamer converted to a carrier. Like the Wolverine, she carried no aircraft or weapons. She was formerly the Greater Buffalo.
