As I had access to a workshop with a guilotine
and a folder I decided to make up the panels rather than buy them. I started by folding
the two sections to the correct profiles. I cut off the surplus and used it for a trail
run.
After I had got the ends right I reproduced them
on the real thing.
It was tricky getting it a assembled but I managed it.
I tack welded the inner panel in position then
the outer one.
When I have got my MIG welder going properly I
will weld round the edges on the inside.
The hole above the toeboard is an area of rust
that needs patching.
