| As there was a rusty hole in the Rear Door
Pillar I decided to buy a replacement panel. Unfortunately there were some problems with it. |

| The raised rectangular areas were correct as was one of the holes for the lights. But it was too long and too narrow. |  |
| The bolts for the door hinge were in the wrong place. It wasn't a Citroen-made part but a copy! The supplier agreed it was crap. |  |
| So I modified it to match the other side. I borrowed a spot welder to fix in position. This was much better than trying to MIG weld it. |

| I cut off part of the old panel from around the light and welded it on the new panel in the correct position. |  |
| You can't see very well here as I have sprayed it with primer but there is a strip of metal behind the but joint. |  |
