Clean machine

Time to clean up all the sheet metalwork ready for painting.
I used an electric drill with a selection of wire brushes.
Then a coating of Curerust.
Then wirebrushing to remove the residue.
If all the rust had turned black then I was confident that I had killed it all. If, after wirebrushing, the was still some red I would apply more Curerust.
There are lots of bits of metal and it took some time to do them all.
Under the metal air filter housing there were a couple of fatigue cracks which I brazed.
The cyilnder head studs were a bit rusty so I replaced them with some good secondhand ones.
Rust seems to have got everywhere!
Finally - a clean machine!
