Cleaned up the cylinder heads.
Reground the valves.
Put on new "goggle" seals. (Pushrod tube seals.)
Knocked off the fins of an old barrel and used it to lap the cylinder heads to ensure that the seating area is flat.
Replaced the valve springs and rockers but left the screws loose as two of the cylinder head studs go through the rocker shafts and they must be tightened first.
Put new piston on con rod.
Made piston ring compressor with sheet of steel and the
Slide barrel over piston.
Removed compressor and pushed barrel home.
Fitted cylinder heads but only tightened studs to initial torque. The inlet/exhaust manifold has to be fitted before the studs are fully tightened.
