We are ‘Bahn Conversions’ and we produce re-motorizing chassis for Hornby and Lima models.

Most British models suffer from poor power and poor current collection, our chassis overcome this by picking up on all 8 or 12 wheels and by using a quality Mashima motor and flywheel set to drive all the wheels.

The above photo shows our chassis fitetd to a Hornby HST. You can clearly see the centrally mounted motor, the flywheels, drive shafts and gear towers.

The installation requires a couple of holes to be drilled into the plastic floor pan of the loco and possibly the removal of some plastic cross members around the bogie area. This is dependant on the specific model.
