ORIGINAL MOTOR = Mabuchi RS-540SH 25 Turn
CURRENT MOTOR = Graupner Speed 600 race 7.2V approx 120W Propshaft = Ripmax 300mm long 4mm diameter inner shaft
PROPELLOR = Graupner 455.1 2 blade 30mm diameter, 40mm pitch GRP
ORIGINAL SPEED CONTROL = M.tronika Marine15, performed OK but got very hot,
untill a feather became stuck in the propellor, the 37A stall current of the
motor fried the controller instantly, much smoke was produced, luckily I had
just fitted the cowl vents and could see the smoke exiting soon enough to
bring it in and disconnect what was left of the controller.
