The plan was carefully photographed using a Canon 300D digital camera. The frames and keel were then edited and drawn in Photoshop, printed on A4 ink jet paper and stuck to the ply with a Prit stick

Frames from 1/8in ply, sides later planked with 1/8 by 1/4 balsa.

Bottom skinned with 1/16in ply.

Sides planked with 5mm by 2mm Mahogany over balsa planking.

Hatch boxes made up from home made ply.

Inside primed, then coated with epoxy resin. Fore deck planked with Mahogany and Lime.

Rear hatch built and planked as fore deck.

All basic woodwork complete.

Glassing in progress. A single layer of 25g/square M used, applied after a 50% thinned sealer coat of resin has cured and been rubbed back.
