The
Tomb of Phabos
The ancient stone ruins of the chaos temple stand in front of you. Once
dedicated to an obscure deity; Yar, a hideous apparition of death and horror,
offering little to its devotees in return for the blood it slurped as countless
sacrifices fell in its unholy name. Driven out of the civilised world, the
priests and cultists of Yar constructed temples far from the glittering cities
to perform their unspeakable rites and sacrifices in isolation. Many fell foul
to the lies spread by the priests as they spread the word of Yar in the cities
of the south, and joined with the cult, only to find death, horror and insanity
instead of the wealth and power they were promised by the insane yet charismatic
priests.

With less than a day's work this portal can be cleared, and then the temple may
once again offer up its buried treasures to the adventurous and the brave. There
appears to be only one entrance into the partially submerged building. Although
the outer walls and pillars have long since fallen to the sands, the main body
of the temple lies underground. It may still be possible to enter and reclaim
the hidden wealth, which is spoken of across the land. This temple was
apparently the Temple of Phabos, a High Priest of Yar. It is told that Phabos
lies buried beneath the temple, in a tomb filled with treasure and magic, more
than any mortal man could ever need.
Through the portal to the temple, the Tomb of Phabos awaits...
