Anamorph camera overview.
Model AN68-003.

This type of camera is commonly known as an
'Anamorph' where the film is held in a cylinder
shape resulting in outrageous distortions.
My anamorph camera is now at Mk.III status with
further refinements to the original design.

The camera design remains largely unchanged - the chassis is identical to that used in previous versions.
The shutter has been redesigned to look neater, but the main new feature is the film guide furthest from the pinhole is now self contained inside the camera chassis.
The redesigned film guide is not simply aesthetic, having both film guides inside the chassis makes film loading a little bit easier.
The film guide is part of a small subchassis. This subchassis is removeable from the camera by simply sliding it out. This makes the camera serviceable - full access is available to the interior of the camera once the film guide subchassis is removed.
Frame sizes remain as before at 18x6cm giving four frames to a roll of 120 film.
The film winding sequence is 2, 5, 8 and 11 as viewed through the frame number viewing window on the top of the camera.
The pictures below demonstrate the great flexibility of the side mounted tripod mounts (note the camera in the left picture is positioned upside down). This flexibility is necessary when using the camera.
