I can recommend this
campsite, it
is right at the top end of the Giffre valley and the location is
quite spectacular. There is plenty of good walking in the immediate
area. I was originally planning to tour the Haute Savoie, staying at
different places, but ended up staying at this campsite for the whole
week.
