Sunset Pot 24th Feb 2001

A good re-introduction to caving, as most of us hadn't been underground for a year.

Into the abyss (actually a 50ft pitch)

The rope climb up into the Upper Series. Note how the cave makes gear suddenly change colour.
Once in the Upper Series, we had a half-hearted attempt at the corkscrew squeeze, but none of us could really be bothered.

On exiting the cave, we discovered that it had started to snow

Chapel-le-Dale to Horton in Ribblesdale, 25th Feb 2001

A bright sunny winter's day, with great views over the fells.
