I currently run a 6 week evening class in video production at Collingwood College in Camberley, Surrey. It is open to anyone, young or old, who is interested in learning how to make videos. I currently teach students how to plan a video, operate the studio and location equipment and basic editing skills along with some special effects practicals.
The Junior course is run on a Tuesday at 6pm and costs £25 per course. The Adult course is also run on Tuesday at 7:30pm and costs £45 per course. Both courses are currently run for 90 minutes and the cost is per course, not per lesson.
The course is held in the College Media Studio (my home from home) which boasts a 24 track audio mixing desk, ADAT multitrack recorder, Panasonic MX50 vision mixer, Panasonic S-VHS camcorders, Power Macintosh 8500 and a new Blue & White G3 with a Media 100qx running Adobe Premiere 5.1, Bryce 2, Photoshop 5.5 and Infini-D 4.
