Flying a computer flight sim is as close to real flying as most people can get, and there are a lot to choose from. I have given my opinions here after trying various demos or buying the real game and will try to give the best possible advice for those wanting to buy a sim, but do not know which one to get.

Which is best I hear you cry, well it depends upon your flying interests. Do not go for microsofts flight sim (for Mac) as it is awful compared to what is available. Are you a fighter pilot or PPL or even a chopper pilot ? Here is a suggestion of what to go for:
