Have you ever wanted to create a particular special effect (SFX) but were not sure how to do it? Then have a look in my index below and see if the effect is here. The advance of cheap computers capable of video work has increased to such effect that you can buy a basic edit suite computer for about £2,500 which can rival effects that broadcasters can do using multi-million pound equipment (though not at the same quality of course, but good enough for amateur videos). For those of you who are still computerless there are other alternatives to computer FX which can still be quite effective, though you may still need some special equipment. The 'computer FX' assume you have a suitable computer with a video capture and output card. If you do not see the FX you want to create then drop me a line and I will try and think of some way of doing them.
