Monitors

What is it?

Monitors are the professional name to the tv screens showing the camera or VCR signals that are coming, (ie, it is monitoring the signal).

What does it do?

The top 2 little monitors display the pictures from the studio cameras so you can see which camera to switch to. The LHS is camera 1, and the RHS is camera 2. The big monitor shows what is being recorded and is the PROGRAM monitor.

How do you use it?

Just turn them on and a picture will come up if the cameras are powered up.

Misc.

Use video cables (ie, Scart leads, phono or BNC connections) for a better picture. using the RF lead means signal los as the VCR converts its signal to an RF signal and then the TV reconverts it back into a video signal.
