Synopsis: Hot on the heels of Blue Thunder came Airwolf, a top secret armed helicopter built by a secret US government organisation and stolen by Stringfellow-Hawk. Airwolf is armed with twin machine guns, and rocket launchers along with hi-tech computer equipment and capable of flying at Mach 1 (approx 650 knots) and beyond, as well as flying higher than any other aircraft. Unfortuantly it lacks Blue Thunders technical accuracy as the helicopter speed record was set by a UK Army Lynx at around 250 mph. |

Personal View: The chopper looks nicer than Blue Thunder, BT looked really mean whereas Airwolf lookssllek and modern, as well as looking like a secret helicopter, (in fact the Bell 222 was an executive helicopter, and it is used by the Police and other services). |

Misc. Notes: Airwolf is a Bell 222 |
