Beauty & the Beast
	Year: Cast:
	Synopsis: This is Disney at its best. The classic fairytale of beautiful girl meets a beast and they fall in love gets the Disney treatment, with great songs, comedy and fantastic animation. One thing which stands out is the use of modern camera styles, such as the excellent ballroom scene with Belle & Beast where the camera features 'steadicam' and camera crane type shots.
	Points of Interest to Film Studies Students: Many of the scenes were filmed live (as was The Hobbit) and then the animators used this as a template for complicated moves.
	Personal View: When I first heard of the film, I thought "Oh, a childrens film", but it is not just for kids, adults will like it too.
