Synopsis: Travolta & Slater are USAF pilots in charge of a stealth bomber containing nuclear weapons. Travolta steals the bombs and Slater tries to retrieve them before he nukes a US city. Travolta is great in the (then) unusual role of a bad guy. He now of course plays bad guys in Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs. the direction is first class using slow motion techniques and sound effects (ie, the echoing "what a terrible thing to say" line of Travolta's) to their full extent. |
