Long before ER there was St. Elsewhere. Based at Saint Eligius Hospital in Boston it founded the ER formula of different patients, different problems both medical and personal.
Points of Interest to Film Studies Students:
Becouse it is based in Boston, the St Elsewhere and Cheers casts combined forces on a special episode of Cheers (I think).
